Audio and Driving Tours
Oil Museum of Canada, National Historic Site offers two self-directed audio tours throughout the year, both are included with the price of admission.
The first tour, accessed through our app, involves exploring the Museum grounds on foot and listening to a narrative at nine audio points about the local oil industry.
The second tour explores the Oil Heritage District in Oil Springs, as you are audibly guided to different stops around the historic oil fields of the Village. This tour traces the evolution of oil from its humble 19th-century beginnings, through its 20th-century growth into the future of energy production and innovation in the 21st century and beyond. With the app, you can view behind-the-scenes videos and historic photographs.
